What this page is

This page exists to prove one thing: that build.py turns text into a deployed page, and that editing the text and rebuilding visibly changes what is served. It is deleted at step 3.1, when the real homepage replaces it.

Everything above this heading is raw HTML passed straight through the converter. Everything below it is Markdown, so the ~60-line subset inside build.py gets exercised too:

  • Bold, italic, inline code and a link
  • Unordered lists, like this one
  • Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes and images
  1. Front matter sets the title, the description and which template to use
  2. content/index.md becomes dist/index.html
  3. static/site.css is copied to the root of dist/

The design system above is Direction F, extracted from the mockup and unscoped. The dates in brown, the chip borders, the footer chips and the quote attribution all carry the WCAG corrections made on 2026-09-18.
